Oh, um…hi! It’s been a minute since I posted. Sorry about that. Probably not the best form to tell the internet that you have stage four lymphoma and then kinda just disappear for months.
It’s been one hell of a ride, I’ll tell ya that much. Long story, but I wasn’t able to keep my job, so I haven’t worked since September. The fatigue started to get really bad by October, and lovely chemo brain (chemo-induced idiocy) set in around November. But all of that isn’t really anything I want to revisit right now. I wanna talk about how it’s over.
My last chemo infusion was on January 2, and on January 17 it was determined that I would not need radiation or any further treatment, and that my cancer was in remission.
Fuckin’ party, y’all! It’s over. Now all there is to do is give myself a little time to recover and enjoy my life free of cancer and free of chemo.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to read my blog, leave a comment, or just care about me over the past several months. It’s been a wild year…
xo
